Everyone’s story matters. We would like to include your voice and experiences in PRISM Family.
What is PRISM Family?
The PRISM Family study is a Project Researching the Impact of Separated and Missing Family. We aim to understand how having a missing or separated family member affects a person’s thoughts, feelings, and wellbeing. We also want to learn about the different ways people cope with having an absent family member and the types of support that people find most helpful.
The PRISM Family study will bring to light the shared experiences of families with missing and separated loved ones. Knowledge from the PRISM Family study will help others with missing and separated loved ones get the right support at the right time and will help advocate for the needs of missing and separated people and their families all around the world.
What does the study involve?
You will be asked to complete some questions on a computer or smart phone in your preferred language. All questions are multiple choice, meaning all the options are written down and you only need to choose an answer. Your answers are kept private and are never shared with anyone.
As your story unfolds, we want to keep hearing from you. This means you will be asked to complete these questions 4 times over roughly 2.5 years.
Each time you complete a survey, you will receive a $25 Coles electronic shopping voucher as a thank you.
What if I need additional support?
We will do our best to support your needs while in the PRISM Family study. We can provide additional support if:
You do not have access to a computer or smart phone
You have never used a computer or smart phone
You have difficulty reading the study questions
You do not speak or read one of the available languages
