Hasti Rostami

Hasti is a Research Assistant at the Refugee Trauma and Recovery Program (RTRP) and a University Ambassador at UNSW, completing her final year in an undergraduate psychology degree. She works on the Pathways to Refugee Wellbeing (PRW) Intervention Project, a randomised controlled trial valuating an intervention aimed at supporting refugees in Indonesia in managing stress.

As a Farsi-speaking researcher with a refugee background, Hasti brings lived experience, cultural insight, and empathy to her work. She is passionate about mental health, trauma recovery, and advocating for refugee well-being through research and community engagement.
